Tactical Combat Casualty Care
Tactical Combat Casualty Care -ALL COMBATANTS Course was adapted from the TCCC/ TC3 course. Which traditionally is a course that is very heavy in tactical medical content & procedures. The aim of this new version is to present the core fundamentals of TCCC to all non-medical personal. With focus on basic life saving care components that allow you to prolong life till medical personal arrives. Both the 75th Ranger Regiment and the Canadian Armed Forces have identified their all-combatant TCCC training programs as key elements in their unprecedented success in reducing preventable death on the battlefield.
In acknowledgement of this fact, military medical leaders requested that the Joint Trauma System develop a TCCC curriculum to train non-medical military personnel. The TCCC for All Combatants (TCCC-AC) curriculum posted here was developed in answer to this request. First responder skills appropriate for soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines were extracted from the TCCC for Medical Personnel curriculum, version 140602, and elements of care that should be performed by medics were excluded. The resulting curriculum for combatants was then rendered in lay language insofar as possible.
