Battlefield Trauma Care

ABOUT

Tactical Medics Groups "Battlefield Trauma Care" (BTC) Mirrors the DHA/JTS "All Service Members" (ASM) Course you maybe familiar with. The striking difference is that all teaching is conducted at each skill station. The why, when and how is taught right there at the skill by one of our bonified TCCC educators. We find this approach to training eliminates fragmenting the knowledge over multiple instructors from theory to practical. This approach to TCCC related training is fresh and welcomed by the student. This course encompasses all the items carried in your IFAK. Your battlefield PPE setup and covers the same content to the same standard the DHA/JTS sets for ASM. rapid casualty assessment, lifesaving medical skills, and critical communication and medical documentation techniques.  The TCCC basic lifesaving skills have been proven safe and effective and can be performed by someone with no medical training. CURRICULUM

Battlefield Trauma Care  training focuses on the very basics of TCCC. Students are able to focus on the need to know what is, how do I use it and when en do I use it and stay alive.  We will cover the following outline that involves exposure to what an IFAK/JFAK is. The medical gear within, opening and applying trauma supplies in skills, MARCH taught in the same way we're all familiar with... the crawl, walk run principles of learning.
